We’ve gone fully green.

We’ve gone fully green.

We’ve made lots of the little differences – now we want to make the BIG ones. We are now using 100% renewable energy in our venues.

We’ve said it before and we will say it again – we love the world and we want to be part of the people who work to protect it. We have talked about our biodegradable straws made from seashells, our reusable keep cups, and all our biodegradable takeaway pizza boxes and cups. We have even switched to a coffee supplier, Bad Hand, who deliver our coffee to us by bike & run their business on 100% renewable energy. You can read all about them here.

Not to blow our own wind turbines, but we are doing pretty well. And now, like our friends at Bad Hand, we have decided it’s time for us to switch to 100% renewable energy suppliers too.

New, renewable friends!

Pozitive Energy has helped us to do this alongside U4L. They’re lovely people who want to help the planet & us.

“We work hard to search the energy market for options that best suit each client. With Urban Guild, it was clear to see that being Eco friendly and green was very important to the brand. We have had great success with the supplier Pozitive energy, who source 100% renewable electricity with no added premium on price. They are fast become the market leaders for renewable business energy.”

We will continually keep trying to improve how we look after the world and make a difference – big or small. It all counts.
